On a recent couple’s getaway to Arlington, Texas, we stayed at the newly renovated Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington and loved it!

Reasons to Stay at Crowne Plaza

Gorgeous, Well Appointed Interior

The beautiful interior at Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington welcomes guests the minute they enter the hotel.   

Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, the interior is bright and modern, with numerous seating areas beckoning guests to relax and unwind.  

The foyer opens to a vast seven-story tall atrium that floods the area with light, making you feel like you have stepped outside.   

Numerous separate sitting and work areas ensure that everyone has a space to enjoy the gorgeous area.  

The atrium’s highlight is the Crowne Plaza’s three glass capsule elevators lined in white marquise-style lights. (I could have sat and watched them all day!) 

Surrounding the atrium are other amenities offered at the Crowne Plaza.  These include an on-site restaurant and bar, several conference-style meeting rooms, a gym, and an indoor pool! 

Spacious and Comfortable Rooms

We stayed in a newly renovated King Suite on the hotel’s seventh floor, which was perfect!   

Your suite opens into a spacious living room with a sofa bed, coffee table, ottoman, television, and desk. 

In the far corner of the room is a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, mini refrigerator, and storage area.   

The bathroom has a large vanity and a beautiful step-in shower, all in a calming, neutral color palette.  

The suite’s bedroom consisted of a plush, comfortable king-size bed, a large, padded headboard, two nightstands, a television, and a small bench.  

I truly loved the WorkLife concept of the room. The fast Wifi, numerous charging stations, and multiple areas to work and relax ensured that I could take care of my business and enjoy a relaxing stay. 

Great Location in Arlington, Texas

Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington is conveniently located near some of the best attractions the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex offers.  

The hotel is minutes from Arlington’s business and entertainment districts.  

You can get your adrenaline fix at Six Flags over Texas, catch a Dallas Cowboys football game, or watch the Texas Rangers strive for another World Series win, all within minutes of the hotel. 

Also, the seasonally operated Arlington trolley will pick you up and bring you back to the hotel, saving you the trouble of finding parking at these popular venues. 

So, whether you are cooling off at Six Flags Hurrican Harbor or checking out the bars and restaurants at Texas Live!, you are always within a few miles of the Crowne Plaza.

Perfect for Blended Travel

Like many people, we often have to accomplish some work while traveling.  

For us, travel is often a mix of business and leisure travel. 

Thankfully, Crowne Plaza strives to create an environment that meets guest’s needs for both.  

The Crowne Plaza has numerous areas throughout the hotel where guests can plug in their devices and get to work without being in their hotel rooms. 

The atrium area of the hotel offered both individual and group work pods complete with charging stations, comfortable seating, and desks.   

In addition, numerous couches and chairs are spread throughout the hotel’s common areas, perfect for catching up on some work or socializing. 

One key feature I especially loved was the electronic art in the Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington.  Be sure to check it out on your visit! 

In addition, the on-site restaurant and bar serve up delicious, hot food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring that you have everything you need right on-site.

We had a fabulous stay at Crowne Plaza Suites Arlington.

The recently renovated rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the availability of food and entertainment within close proximity was fabulous.
