The Pocket Sandwich Theatre is not your run-of-the-mill live performance venue. One visit here and you will understand what I mean.
This theatre is an intimate setting that allows its visitors to participate in the performance. How? Well, you get to throw popcorn at the actors!
You and your date will love the cozy environment where you can have food and drinks while watching a fun and entertaining performance. One of their most popular shows is the annual staging of Scrooged, a spin on the classic Christmas tale. Get tickets well in advance for this one, as it is often sold out.

2. House of Blues
Treat your date to a fun night of live music and good Southern-style food at The House of Blues in Dallas.

Head to the top of Dallas’ Reunion Tower and treat your date to a fabulous dinner at Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck. Not only will you enjoy an impeccable meal, but you will also have a constantly changing view of Dallas as the floor slowly circles the orb-shaped building.
31. Ride the Swans at Fair Park
Everyone associates Fair Park with the Texas State Fair, but did you know that you can visit Fair Park throughout the year? It’s true.
One of the romantic things to do here is to paddle out in one of the swan-shaped boats. Enjoy some great conversation and take a picnic lunch to round out this fun date.

A fondue dinner is a dinner and entertainment all in one. This is because a fondue dinner is a marathon, not a sprint.

We have seen the Broadway shows Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Phantom of the Opera here. We have also watched The Blue Man Group and the Nutcracker performances at the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
70. Nasher Sculpture Center
The Nasser Sculpture Center is home to the modern and contemporary sculpture collection of Mr. and Mrs. Nasher. Here you and your date can admire all the beautiful works of art incorporated into this 2.4-acre site.
71. Dallas Museum of Modern Art
Adjacent to the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas’ Arts District is the Dallas Museum of Modern Art, one of the largest art museums in America!
The Dallas Museum of Modern Art is home to more than 25,000 works of art that span more than 5,000 years. One of the great things about this is not only the fabulous works of art you will find here, but it is also free!
72. The Perot Museum
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is a great Dallas date idea. This museum, located in the heart of Dallas, has 11 permanent exhibits that allow you to get hands-on while learning about natural history and science.
In addition to the exhibits, the museum also has an excellent theatre showcasing notable films.
73. The Holocaust Museum
OK, I am giving you fair warning on this one, the Holocaust Museum is an emotional experience, so choose wisely if making this your date choice.
With that being said, though, the Dallas Holocaust Museum is an incredible experience. During a visit here, you are transported back to the days of World War II and the tragedies that were associated with the Holocaust.
74. Frontiers of Flight Museum
Dallas’ Frontiers of Flight Museum is a fun experience for you and your date. Here you will find 20 galleries showcasing the history of aviation and over 35,000 artifacts. In addition to this, you can also get up close and personal with several air and space vehicles.
75. Dallas Heritage Village
A fun way to explore Dallas’ history is to make a date at the Dallas Heritage Village. Located in the historic old city park, the Dallas Heritage Village has a great collection of historic buildings representing 1840-1910.
Visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour and find pamphlets throughout the property that tell the story of the village surrounding you. In addition, you will probably also interact with several volunteers here, who will be dressed in period costumes to help tell you the story of Dallas Heritage Village.
One of our favorite times of year to visit Dallas Heritage Village is during the holiday season. During this time of year, the village is transformed to celebrate a Christmas of the past.

We already know that Dallas is full of world-class museums, but did you also know that Dallas is home to some great art galleries? Take time to tour some of these fabulous galleries on your date night in Dallas.
77. Sixth Floor Museum
The Sixth Floor Museum is a great Dallas date idea for history lovers. Here you can explore than life and unfortunate death of President John F. Kennedy.
The museum is in the old School Book Depository on the sixth floor. This is supposedly where the fateful shot that took President Kennedy’s life was fired from. Research and decide what version of this story (or conspiracy) you believe.

For full guided vacations, including hotels, some meals, transportation, and guides, then we book with Trafalgar. Trafalgar is a trusted tour company that will meet all your needs while ensuring a great experience.
Trip.com allows you to book flights, hotels, train tickets, rental cars, airport transfers, tours, and more all on one site. Owned by the parent company that also owns Skyscanner, this is a trusted resource for travel booking and a great “one-stop shop.”
Book Your Accommodations:
We always begin our search by checking out honest reviews on TripAdvisor hotels. This allows us to narrow our search for specific properties once we are ready to book. Of course, you can also book directly on the TripAdvisor site!
There are several accommodation sites that we like to use. One of our favorites is Booking.com because it offers a wide variety of hotels and guesthouses at a good price.
Another “go-to” hotel booking site for us is Hotels.com. We love their loyalty program that allows you to earn free nights, and their “secret prices” for members are fabulous deals!
HotelsCombined is another cool site. They allow you to compare all the top travel sites with one search to ensure you find the best deal out there. Kayak works in this way as well.
If you want a luxurious all-inclusive vacation, consider checking out the Sandals/Beaches properties. Sandals properties are for couples only and Beaches are for families. We have visited Sandals in the past and absolutely love the attention to detail and the service they provide.
Tour Companies We Trust:
We love taking guided tours when visiting new places. Our go-to tour companies are Viator.com and Get Your Guide. Both of these companies have been in business for years and provide excellent customer service. You can trust booking tours from their sites for sure!
For a guided city tour, check out City Sightseeing and BigBus Tours. These bus tours are so much fun and easy to hop on and hop off at top attractions in cities around the world.
CityPass is a great way to save money when visiting large cities. CityPass allows you to get free admission to major attractions once you buy their pass. The savings add up quickly with this pass, often saving 50% with combined admissions.
Another great pass to save money in larger cities is the Sightseeing Pass. This pass allows you to save valuable time and money by combining admissions to major attractions. They also have a handy app that keeps everything you need at your fingertips.
