I mean, it is one of the small Texas towns worth visiting and a welcome escape from the city life and enjoy some Texas Hill country views!
Known as an artist community, Wimberley’s slogan is ‘keep Wimberley weirder’, playing on their neighbor Austin’s ‘keep Austin weird’ slogan.
Personally, I feel like Wimberley is the perfect Texas Hill Country trip.
Couples can come here and escape from everything if they choose to do so.
Find yourself a little cabin in the woods with a hot tub that is surrounded by rolling hills, and don’t come out until you have to! A cabin in the woods of Wimberley is a fabulous escape in Texas for couples.
For those couples who want to get out a little, you will find plenty of things to do in Wimberley to keep you busy.
You can visit the vineyards and distilleries that surround this cute community, swim in Jacob’s Well, or shop on the Wimberley square. If that isn’t enough for you, you are within an easy drive to San Antonio, Fredericksburg, or Austin.
